[Planner] Tasks assigned to same resource scheduled concurrently?

Hi!

I'm new to this list but I haven't seen this question answered in the
archives.

I'm also new to project planning software so sorry if this is a lame
question.

I have the following project:
1. whole
1.1 task1   10d
1.2 task2   8d

Imagine I assign task1 and task2 to resource resource1. Why does planner
schedule "1. whole" to be done in only 10d? I expected 18d here...

Am I missing something?

I attach a demo project which shows the problem I have.
