Hi,

In Gossip translation, it's necessary to separate some identical
strings which are used in different contexts, e.g.

_Chat is in some context a noun and in other a verb (translated in
French by _Discuter if the string shows on a button or by _Discussion
if the string shows in a menu title)

_Edit is concerned too.

You can use Q_ gettext macro in gossip-contact-list.c (doesn't work
with const) or modify the glade files to indicate _Chat and _Edit are
titles (I don't know how to do that).
