[Gossip-dev] Mission Statement

Hi,

After going through integrating Telepathy and not really having a
unified defined direction among the core maintainers for Gossip, we
decided to agree on one and stick to it in the future.

This is what we agree should be the mission of Gossip:

Gossip Mission Statement:

The goal of the Gossip project is to development a multi platform
solution for communication and collaboration over the Internet. We
intend to do this by developing a simple to use clean graphical user
interface and making full use of the extensible XMPP protocol. The
project is all about getting together and having fun developing a
crucial tool for long distance collaboration.
