gossip is setting the options just fine, but to get an SSL connection
with talk.google.com to work, I had to edit the account file by hand and
set "ignore-ssl-errors" to "TRUE". Setting the port was also pretty
unfriendly as the text entry refuses to be empty and defaults to 1.

The single telepathy-specific problem here is the absence of groups and
avatars

Thanks to all for this nice work, I can not wait to add other
connections manager and see gossip replace fully gaim ;)
