Ok, so maybe I was just overreacting to allegations of instability in
Gabble. :) For the functionality that's well established, it's very
stable. Obviously the new stuff is by definition in a state of flux, but
a lot of the code or backend logic has been ready for quite some time,
it's just not been polished off or exposed through the Telepathy
interfaces, which is why I'm reasonably sure these new things will be
usable very shortly.

For inclusion of Gossip+Telepathy stack in GNOME proper, I am of course
willing to defer to your judgement because you guys constitute the "tip
of the iceberg" - the bit that the user sees, and the stability of the
whole stack is of course contingent on both all of the bits working well
independently, and them working well together.

Regards,
Rob
