No one said that we are applying a UI standard here, in fact, by saying
Gossip should use the same tab system as other GNOME applications is
saying we apply rules for generic tab use when Gossip has very special
tab use. We *already* make the text size smaller to make names fit, if
we followed GEdit or Firefox you would get two tabs if you are lucky
with the normal text size and the close images, unless you made the chat
window 50+% of the full screen size which is just not practical.

Regarding the size of the window, I might make it a bit bigger, but if
350x250 isn't the perfect size what is? :)
