Mhh, I always close too much tabs in firefox. I also doesn't agree with
the space argument. this is a very small button and you must have a lot
of tabs open, that the button is annoying. I think it's more important
to have a clean and "standard" interface, even though it lacks a little
bit in efficients. The advantage for the users is more, because it's the
same behavior in all gnome programs. And I think epiphany and co. found
a good solution for closing tabs, even though they have bigger windows.
maybe we can adapt this, even though it forces us to have to use wider
windows.

I hope you could understand my terrible english, even though I used the
word "even" inflationary.
