I'm with Richard here. There's a clear use case for "invisibility",
as long as this is the standard way to "do it" in jabber.
Making a sticky away mode is different though. I had a hard time
digesting it when it was introduced as I was used to "hide" from people
under an away state. The problem is that more often that doing it on
purpose, I'd forget to change my state back to something sane.
After a week or so, I started to see this is the right thing. I see no
reason to lie about your state, more if we get invisibility.
