Doh! I totally missed the gnome foot. I thought a "throbber" was a type of
progress bar. (The one used for tasks that have no specific ETA)

I don't mainly because I couldn't get it to do a few things that I wanted it
to; eg. run scripts when a specific network connection comes online. I guess
I'll have to investigate Network Manager a little closer.

Or perhaps check the status of the default route in addition to Network
Manager's status and logical or the two or something.
