Excellent stuff! It's good to see gossip moving ahead at a good pace! :)

A few small notes and questions though...

Where does this show up? I only see avatars in the contact list.

Ditto. I don't see any throbber. Do I need to enable something?

This is great. In theory at least. On my machine I don't use Network Manager
to manage all my connections (only wireless) so gossip always sees me as
disconnected when I'm hardwired to the net. I guess this is a general
Network Manager usage issue though and probably not gossip's problem.
