I removed this because we already have a lot of shortcuts and the menu
looks crowded. I considered sending a new message from this dialog an
uncommon thing, but perhaps I was wrong.

I can re-add it.

Mmm, is this really a necessary shortcut? If so, I might do something
about it when fixing:

Huh?

Do you mean hide the menu if they choose in the preferences to NOT use
smileys? I have thought about doing this actually. If this is what you
meant could you bugzilla it and I will find time to do that :)
