[Gossip-dev] Bug in typing notification?

Hi,

I am not sure if this is a bug in Gossip or in other clients:
Some clients receive empty messages while I am typing. They notifies the
user about a new message (while I am typing) and in the worst case show
several blank lines.
I think I recognize this behavior with an old gossip (as recipient)
version (0.8 or 0.9, I am not sure) and an bot, which receive jabber
messages and forward them to registered users.

Is the syntax of the typing notification message correct?
